Cui Jie’s picture reveals a female painter’s unique perspective on her observation and understanding of life. With the picture of plane formation and decorative features, we can feel her design accomplishment and solid modelling foundation. The items of the painting are all her collections and family furnishings. She only draws items she loves and precious life of nature that gives the audience a sense of reality and fantasy by appreciating her picture. The dislocation of space, the intersection of time, the transformation of reality and virtual and the contradiction between goods and wild animals, and so on which make her works like a dream. And the dreamlike scene, gorgeous color and rough brush stroke, full of the free force of wild life form her unique painting artistic style. Cui Jie’s picture shows the color language of oil painting incisively and vividly – “color is form, form is color”. Her works not only have rough brush trace but also exquisite color changes, and pen and colors blend together. Cui Jie’s painting with distinct personal style has attracted the attention of academic circle. She has been invited to join the “the 4th and 5th China-Japan-Korea Art Exhibitions (Yokohama, Japan)”, ” the 5th China Oil Painting New Artists’ Exhibition (Chinese Academy of Oil Painting)”, “the Picturesque Southern China Oil Painting Exhibition (Chinese Oil Painting Society). We are expecting her, and believe that she will create more and better works.
